Service user story
“Sahra had been trying to get her housing benefits reinstated for 2 years without success. She was bedridden and couldn’t produce the evidence requested. She lost motivation and became disengaged. After being referred to our drop-in service, the adviser supported her to submit a new application and, within 4 weeks, Sahra’s benefits were reinstated and backdated . She now feels motivated and, in addition, is volunteering and engaging with services”

Service user story
“Sainab came over to London from Sweden 2 years ago. She was looking forward to the move and so was shocked to find herself deeply depressed and almost paralysed with anxiety, so she could no longer to into the office or answer her phone or door. She came to Tageero because she felt she had no other choice. Her counselor was able to make her sense of the feelings which could be traced to an earlier and deeper abandonment. Sainab is back to work now and feeling better able to cope
